I have just met a large group of people who have come from Kiziba Camp. They are now settled in Kentucky, Virginia, Illinois, Michigan, and Arizona. They’re great.

They were in the spring, and I am sure they are still open now. There are many people, so it takes a long time for any help they can provide.

I was there in May, and I remember the guides telling us how different the weather could be throughout the year. Check a guide book or ask a local about the weather, hopefully they can help you!

Hi Scott,
I stumbled across your blog today and just wanted to let you know how encouraging it was for me. I’m a reporter for a Christian newspaper in Auckland, New Zealand but originally from the UK. I traveled to Uganda with a team in 2008 and since then have had a very deep love for Africa and it’s people. Since my trip I have felt a real calling to use my writing to highlight the need in Africa and (hopefully) to inspire people to make a positive difference in the world; though I’m still trying to figure out what that looks like. I guess I just wanted to say thank you, it came just at the right time. Gemma

i’m so happy to have come across ur blog and to see that people still care….at times it feels like people in the refugee camp have been forgotten. i’v lived in kiziba refugee camp n have all my family members still living there. it’s an everyday struggle but we thank God. GOD BLESS U N UR TEAM!
